DESCRIPTION

Creative Studios LA is seeking an enthusiastic, social media savvy marketing intern to join our production company and provide management, organizational and creative ideas to help achieve our social media and marketing goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies including social media, email and event planning. The objective of the internship is to ensure that Creative Studios LA’s productions, services and operations are always marketed to their best potential.

This internship will help you acquire a broad range of applied skills + experience in how to be an effective and scrappy marketer across a range or creative industries. Internship will benefit aspiring Branding/Marketing, Music Business and/or Entertainment industry professionals. There is also an opportunity for this internship to become a paid paid position within the next 12 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with company to create and implement marketing + social campaigns (Instagram is priority, Facebook, blog and email marketing are secondary).
  • Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for our various brands.
  • Feed planning, image sourcing and graphics creation.
  • Schedule and manage social media for our various brands.
  • Monitor analytics to identify viable marketing ideas
  • Help organize and execute marketing events

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Junior or senior level in Marketing, Entertainment, Design or similar field of study.
  • Strong visual aesthetic (design background a plus)
  • Facebook, Instagram and stories creation proficiency
  • High sense of personal integrity and willingness to listen and learn
  • Passion for the arts + entertainment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, social media scheduling, Google Apps and WordPress).
  • Must be able to commit 15-20 hours per week with flexible availability as production schedules vary and may require some evening and weekend coverage.
  • Creative Studio LA’s internships are for credit only – candidates must be enrolled in a college or university. If offered a position, students must provide a letter from their college or university confirming that they will receive school credit.
  • The internship is located at our NoHo studio. It is also required that interns bring their own Wi-Fi enabled laptop to the office.

COPYRIGHT ADMIN

DESCRIPTION

Creative Studios LA is seeking Fall interns who are passionate about music business and are eager to learn more about music publishing and copyright administration. This is a great opportunity to learn how music publishing and copyrights really work and gain experience working in a casual and welcoming startup environment. This internship is for credit only. 

The purpose of this internship is to support busy licensing and administration professionals while learning about all facets of the day-to-day operations in a growing publishing company. You will be introduced to specific software, as well as organizational and business processes, that will further your understanding of music publishing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping the team process & organize mechanical and sync license data
  • Entering and organizing music database & metadata
  • Gathering ISRCs (International Standard Recording Codes)
  • Collecting, organizing, and manipulating large pools of data.
  • Organizing and updating publishing splits
  • Conducting internet research
  • Organizing and databasing music library

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Comfortable and skilled in both written and verbal communication
  • Has an interest and basic understanding of music publishing and copyright law
  • Eager to learn about the day-to-day operations of administrative publishing
  • Knowledgeable of the domestic PRO’s and major royalty administrators in the U.S.
  • Able to identify the main royalty types collected by Publishers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Confident carrying out projects from start to finish, and providing quality data
